APSCo Southeast Asia has successfully concluded a two-week programme of recruitment leadership workshops and executive events across Malaysia and Singapore, reinforcing its continued investment in professional development for the region’s staffing sector.
The programme centred around APSCo Southeast Asia’s latest recruitment training workshops, “The Winning Edge: Transforming Mindset into Results for Recruitment Leaders”, delivered in partnership with Arcadia Consulting and led by Joe Goddard.
Designed specifically for recruitment leaders and managers, the workshops focused on practical strategies for improving motivation, behavioural performance and team effectiveness in a challenging market environment. Sessions explored areas including intrinsic motivation, performance habits, resilience and approaches to sustaining high-performing recruitment teams.
Feedback from attendees highlighted the practical and engaging nature of the sessions, reinforcing demand for leadership-focused training tailored specifically to the recruitment profession.

Alongside the workshops, APSCo Southeast Asia also hosted executive dining events, bringing together recruitment and staffing leaders from across the region to discuss the evolving direction of the ASEAN talent market, alongside the challenges and opportunities shaping the profession.
The Malaysia executive dining event brought together multinational recruitment firms, Malaysian SMEs, RPO providers and IT services businesses from across the market. APSCo Southeast Asia extends its thanks to sponsors brioHR, alongside Mattie Pujol and Raymond Thian, for supporting the event and wider programme activity in the market.
In Singapore, APSCo Southeast Asia partnered with Peoplegig for an executive dining session hosted by Caleb Baker, creating a valuable opportunity for recruitment and staffing leaders to exchange perspectives and strengthen connections across the industry.
A key highlight across both weeks was the visit from Ann Swain, Global CEO of APSCo, who joined members, partners and recruitment leaders throughout the programme. Discussions across the workshops and executive events explored the future direction of the recruitment profession and the growing role of technology, AI and data in shaping workforce strategy and talent acquisition.
APSCo Southeast Asia also extends its thanks to HSBC and Angel Soon for supporting the Singapore workshop.
