British Chamber of Commerce Singapore

The Chamber is a registered Society, led by an Executive Team and overseen by an elected Board of members, operating under a published Constitution. Its mission is to drive the growth of British businesses in Singapore, create opportunities for its members, facilitate the sharing of industry knowledge, and support exporters from the UK. This mission is fulfilled through close collaboration with the government, partners, and actively engaged members, delivering services, committee participation, activities, and opportunities throughout the year.

Its network includes around 3,500 members from 300 organisations, ranging from start-ups and SMEs to large multinational corporations, spanning across various sectors and industries. As a member of both the British Chambers of Commerce Global Network and the Britain in South East Asia (BiSEA) network, it is well-positioned for regional collaboration. Approximately two-thirds of its network in Singapore consists of British nationals or individuals working for companies with UK headquarters.

The Chamber is a vibrant business ecosystem, connected to some of the most dynamic and influential brands from both the UK and Singapore. With strong ties to the Singaporean government, it actively participates in discussions about Free Trade Agreements, the UK-Singapore Digital Economy Agreement, sustainability initiatives, and the country’s Industry Transformation Roadmaps.

The Chamber is also involved in the SG-UK Strategic Partnership, which promotes cooperation between the two nations in areas such as economic development, defence, security, intelligence, climate and sustainability, green energy, research, science, and public sector collaboration.
